There is its folks! The coveted "everyone looking at the camera" photo! Total WIN for mom, dad, AND the photographer! But what comes next (besides ordering christmas cards)? What can you follow this up with? I am pretty good with posing multiple family members together, or poses within family members. What I've been working on is the natural interaction, and capturing it beautifully. This takes just as much work! Learning prompts, ways to keep parents relaxed, even when kids are being wild. Let me tell you this. I LOVE WILD. Have you seen photos of my middle daughter Nina? She is the definition of wild, in fact the next blog post will probably be all about her! So seeing other kids being free spirited makes my heart sing. I love playing games, I feel like I am socially better with the kids than with the adults to be honest. So we get the perfect family photo during your session, but we also get fun poses that make memories. Below are a few other examples of "poses" I have families do during sessions. We tell stories, we take breaks, we make the most of our hour or so together. This family let me in on some little inside jokes they had that had me laughing just as much as they were. If you check out my Facebook page you can see a few more little stories about our adventures also. My favorite moments from this session were when mom and dad were snuggling in and loving on their babies, those moments are the best to witness. Have questions about my posing? Leave me some questions or comments below!
